Scope and Accounts

1. 1. These Terms apply to all matters relating to your use of the Service.
2. 2. If you are a minor, please use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. 3. When making a purchase or using certain features, you shall provide accurate and up-to-date information (name, address, email address, payment details and so on).
4. 4. You are responsible for managing your account information and keeping your password confidential. Accounts may not be transferred, lent or sold to any third party.

Product Information and Availability

1. 1. We make every effort to display product images and descriptions accurately, but colours and textures may appear different from the actual item depending on your device and display settings.
2. 2. Specifications, prices and the product line-up may change or be discontinued without notice. We reserve the right to set purchase quantity limits for particular regions or customers.

Orders and Formation of Contract

1. 1. Completing the checkout process on the Service constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract of sale is formed when we send you a notice of acceptance, such as an order confirmation email.
2. 2. We reserve the right to cancel or terminate a contract even after an order has been accepted where there is reasonable cause, including the following:
   • Payment authorisation is not obtained from the card issuer or payment provider
   • There is an obvious error in the listed price or product information
   • The order is reasonably judged to be for resale or other commercial purposes
   • The order is judged inappropriate, such as duplicate orders for limited-edition items
3. 3. Returns, exchanges and cancellations are governed by the conditions set out separately in our Legal Notice (return period, excluded items, who bears shipping costs and so on). The Japanese cooling-off system does not apply to distance selling.
4. 4. Customers in the EU are additionally covered by Section 3-2 below.

Right of Withdrawal for EU Customers

1. 1. For orders delivered within the EU, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the last item of your order.
2. 2. To withdraw, notify us within that period through your customer account, and return the items within 14 days of giving notice.
3. 3. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned items, including standard delivery charges. Return shipping costs are borne by you.
4. 4. Custom-made items, digital content and other goods unsuitable for return by their nature are excluded from this section.

Prices and Payment

1. 1. The price displayed at the time of your order applies (consumption tax included for orders within Japan). Any separate shipping charges or fees are shown on the checkout screen.
2. 2. Payment shall be made by one of the methods we designate (credit card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay). For credit card payments the order date is the transaction date, and the date the amount is debited depends on your agreement with your card issuer.

Shipping, Customs Duties and Transfer of Title

1. 1. For delivery within Japan, shipping is free for orders of 20,000 yen or more (tax included) and 550 yen (tax included) below that amount; orders to Okinawa Prefecture are 1,650 yen (tax included). International shipping charges are calculated and displayed automatically at checkout based on the destination country or region and the weight of the order (free shipping applies to domestic Japanese delivery only). Charges are subject to change without notice.
2. 2. Regular items are dispatched within one week of your order. Pre-order items are dispatched in the period stated on each product page. Estimated delivery dates are a guide only and may be delayed by weather, traffic, the carrier or customs clearance.
3. 3. Title to the goods and the risk of loss pass to you at the point we hand the goods to the carrier.
4. 4. Please register your delivery address accurately. We may cancel an order where the registered details are incomplete or incorrect.
5. 5. Any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees and other local taxes or charges arising on delivery outside Japan are borne entirely by you as the recipient. Compliance with the import regulations and laws of the destination country or region is also your responsibility.
6. 6. If a parcel is returned to us because duties were not paid, delivery was refused, or the address was incorrect, any refund will be made after deducting the outbound and return international shipping costs and the actual handling costs incurred. The original shipping charge is not refundable.

Intellectual Property

Copyright, trademark and all other intellectual property rights in the content of the Service (text, images, logos, designs, software and so on) belong to us or to the rightful owner. Reproducing, republishing, altering or making secondary use of that content without our prior consent is prohibited.

Prohibited Conduct

• Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
• Acts connected with criminal activity
• Infringing the intellectual property, privacy, reputation or other rights of us, other users or third parties
• Providing false information or impersonating another person
• Unauthorised access, transmitting computer viruses, or using scraping or other automated tools without permission
• Acts likely to interfere with the operation of the Service
• Purchasing for the purpose of resale or other commercial gain
• Violent or threatening demands towards us, our officers or employees, or the Service, and any conduct connected with organised crime

Restriction of Use and Suspension of Accounts

1. 1. You breach any provision of these Terms
2. 2. Your registered details are found to be false
3. 3. You fail to meet a payment obligation
4. 4. You engage in any conduct listed in Section 7
5. 5. We otherwise judge your use of the Service to be inappropriate

Relationship with Shopify

The Service runs on Shopify's system, but the seller and the party to the contract of sale is us, Subciety Online Store. Shopify bears no direct responsibility for the sale, delivery or quality of the products.

Handling of Personal Information

We handle your personal information appropriately in accordance with our Privacy Policy. In order to provide the Service, your data may also be transmitted to and processed by Shopify as our hosting provider.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

1. 1. We do not warrant the completeness, accuracy, usefulness or fitness for a particular purpose of the content of the Service.
2. 2. In relation to liability for breach of contract or in tort, we accept no liability for loss not caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, including business interruption and lost profits.
3. 3. Where we are liable in damages, our liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the amount you paid in the transaction in which the loss arose. This limitation does not apply where the Japanese Consumer Contract Act applies and we have acted with wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms where we judge it necessary, by giving notice on this website or by other appropriate means in advance. The amended Terms take effect when they are posted on this site.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. 1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
2. 2. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute relating to the Service.
